Nicole Evans works at a provincial lab near the Joe Doupe Recreation Centre (JDRC) at the UM’s Bannatyne campus. As someone who has tried many different gyms and work-out styles over the years, when she started working at the lab and signed up for a membership at JDRC she was pleasantly surprised by the diverse fitness classes offered through the centre

Keenan Karish touches down with both academics and athletics

The University of Manitoba has announced that Keenan Karish, who is also one of the newest Bisons Football recruits, is one of three recipients receiving a BMO Future Indigenous Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship, valued at $ 16,000 over the course of four years. Karish will be the first Bisons athlete to win this prestigious award.
