If you’ve been wondering how to be more inclusive when creating files and ensure your materials meet accessibility standards, Panorama is your new best friend. Panorama is an accessibility tool that has been available on UM Learn since 2022. Now it’s also being relaunched as a password-protected portal, which means you can also review documents for accessibility outside UM Learn. You just log in to Panorama using your UM password—which means that UM staff and students can now also use it for any materials they produce.

As part of the Machray Hall redevelopment, the Jim Peebles Science and Technology Library (Science Library) will be closed to walk-in use beginning May 1, 2024. Access to print and digital collections, librarians, and other services will continue to be available during the closure. The library will undergo a transformation, resulting in new student study spaces and services.

August 20, 2024 — 
School of Art Professor Grace Nickel was the focus of a homecoming celebration Saturday, August 17th during Plum Fest, serving as parade marshal and also officially opening her latest exhibit "Full Circle" at the Plum Coulee Elevator Museum.

Dr. Marti Ford is the new Associate Dean Indigenous Education and Dr. Merli Tamtik is the new Associate Dean Graduate Programs and Research.

Participating employers will be reimbursed up to a maximum of $1,700.00 per project/position at the end of the fiscal year.

June 28, 2024 — 
Dr. Charlotte Enns appointed Professor Emerita in recognition of her contributions to the Faculty of Education.
