September 22, 2023 — Canada’s first national disability benefit, Bill C-22, received royal assent on June 22, 2023. The bill was reintroduced in 2022 after initially being tabled two years prior.

September 22, 2023 — The Information Services and Technology (IST) open-area computer labs are available for all students and staff. Standard software, including Microsoft 365 desktop tools, Respondus LockDown Browser, Firefox, Edge, and Chrome browsers, are installed on all lab devices. UM assistant prof named Future Leader in Canadian Brain Research : Campus News
September 21, 2023 — Dr. Henry A. Dunn, an assistant professor in the department of pharmacology and therapeutics at the Max Rady College of Medicine within the University of Manitoba, is 1 of 28 recipients of the 2023 Future Leaders in Canadian Brain Research (FLCBR) fund. This program provides funding of $100,000 to support innovative research focused on developing solutions to brain disorders and diseases including ALS, epilepsy and brain injuries.

September 21, 2023 — Since graduating from the Asper School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business and Marketing, Ben Chutta [BComm(Hons)/15] has travelled to 52 countries across six continents, facilitated over $95 million in sales with multi-million- and billion-dollar corporations, and recently completed all 10 legs of The Amazing Race Canada Season 9 with longtime friend Anwar Ahmed.
