September 22, 2023 —  Canada’s first national disability benefit, Bill C-22, received royal assent on June 22, 2023. The bill was reintroduced in 2022 after initially being tabled two years prior.

Standard software, including Microsoft 365 desktop tools, Respondus LockDown Browser, Firefox, Edge, and Chrome browsers, are installed on all lab devices. September 21, 2023 —  Dr. Henry A. Dunn, an assistant professor in the department of pharmacology and therapeutics at the Max Rady College of Medicine within the University of Manitoba, is 1 of 28 recipients of the 2023 Future Leaders in Canadian Brain Research (FLCBR) fund. This program provides funding of $100,000 to support innovative research focused on developing solutions to brain disorders and diseases including ALS, epilepsy and brain injuries.
