Born practically next door to the University of Manitoba at Victoria Hospital and raised in Winnipeg in a family of UM alumni, attending UM was the obvious choice for Anjali Sandhu. Discovering a passion for law, she won numerous prizes, awards and scholarships for obtaining high marks and highest standings in many of her classes, concluding her law school career as class Valedictorian. Did we mention that Sandhu is also a stand-up comedian and professional actor?

Experts must track mutating COVID-19 to develop effective vaccine: UM study

Rady Faculty of Health Sciences researchers determined that scientists must track the genetic diversity of COVID-19 in order to develop an effective vaccine. They also determined that testing for the virus may produce false negative results if experts don't track how it's changing around the world.
