Contactless material pickup with library hold lockers

UM Libraries is implementing material pickup at two hold lockers: Elizabeth Dafoe Library for the Fort Garry campus and the Neil John Maclean Health Science Library for the Bannatyne campus.

B.Sc. (Med.) students pivot research amid pandemic

Medical students in the bachelor of science in medicine (B.Sc. (Med.) program showed great resilience this summer in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of the learners had to modify their research or take on a whole new project because of reduced capacity in laboratories and temporary lab closures.

New medical students receive first white coats in adjusted ceremony

First-year medical students from a cross-section of ethnic, cultural and socio-economic backgrounds are beginning their journey to becoming doctors when they recite the Physician’s Pledge at this year’s Inaugural Day Exercises and White Coat Ceremony on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at the University of Manitoba’s Bannatyne campus.

Libraries open study spaces for students
