A group of UM students in a leadership program have launched a podcast as a resource for nurses and nursing students in Manitoba

October 19, 2021 — 
In June 2021, just as pandemic restrictions stiffened in Manitoba, the President’s Student Leadership Program (PSLP) welcomed its third cohort. Now, three months later, equipped with a collection of new leadership insights from the early stages of the program, participants completed their leadership service projects.

July 22, 2021 — 
The James W. Burns Leadership Institute recently welcomed a third cohort of 23 participants representing some 15 disciplines, for the core week of the President’s Student Leadership Program. Students from across the province dove into an intensive week of workshops, seminars, and group work. Participants also got the opportunity to engage with prominent and impactful community and business leaders about their own leadership journey and leading through crisis.

Asper School of Business student, Lauren Slegers has been named as the recipient of the 2021 Janice Filmon Leadership Scholarship.
