With winter around the corner, there’s no denying that we’ll see colder, freezing and frosty weather. The International Centre is running a pop-up winter clothing display on November 2 from 11:30 to 1:30 to help international students prepare for Winnipeg’s winter climate.

UM students recognized for their efforts in bridging cross-cultural gaps, both locally and globally

The International Centre is offering two virtual information sessions on the Manitoba International Student Health Plan (MISHP) so that international students can learn all about their health coverage while they are registered as a student at the University of Manitoba.

May 6, 2022 — 
The International Centre is hosting a weekly conversation group for international students during the summer, and all students are welcome.

April 25, 2022 — 
International students, get ready for your studies at UM by attending the international student welcome and orientation.

January 17, 2022 — 
The International Centre is committed to international student success and offers a number of programs and services year-round to help international students adapt to and experience Canadian culture.

November 30, 2021 — 
Participants will be asked questions to assess their overall experience as an international student on campus and in the extended community.

November 22, 2021 — 
Through the Welcome Mentors program, mentees receive one-on-one personal, intercultural, and academic support from a mentor throughout their entire academic term.
