Asper School of Business launches Master’s Co-op Program

The Stu Clark Graduate School at the Asper School of Business is excited to launch three new co-op programs for professional graduate students, building on the success of Asper’s award-winning Bachelor of Commerce Co-op Program. Starting this summer, the first cohort of students from the Master of Business Administration (MBA) will start their work placements, followed by the Master of Finance students in fall 2022 and the Master of Supply Chain Management and Logistics students during the summer of 2023.

Business community member leaves behind legacy of mentorship and kindness at Asper

The Career Development Centre at the Asper School of Business is saddened by the passing of longtime co-op employer Frank Chamarengah. Chamarengah leaves a legacy of mentoring over 25 Asper School of Business co-op students since 2013. He consistently took in one or two students every work term, leaving a lasting impact on students and alumni.

Shawn Singh and the President’s Student Leadership Program

This summer was unusual for 3L Shawn Singh. For one thing, he worked as a research assistant for Assistant Professor Brandon Trask, published three articles including two in the Manitoba Law Journal, and one in a book published by Springer Nature. He got married – that was huge. Oh yes, and he was the only law student to be selected to take part in the University of Manitoba President’s Student Leadership Summer Program.
