Asper-Science Case team places first at Munich Re Cup : Network News
March 24, 2021 — On March 12, UM students added another case competition win by placing first at the Munich Re Cup, an actuarial business case competition open to students in the Canada and United States. The competition provides a chance for students to develop and apply their analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills to real-world business problems.

March 23, 2021 — With governments working to roll out COVID-19 vaccines more broadly, some Canadian jurisdictions are considering “vaccine passports,” which would be proof that the holder has been vaccinated. These documents would be intended to facilitate international travel. But we must be vigilant against any efforts to deploy them domestically that would discriminate against people who have not been inoculated.

Microsoft OneDrive: New file request feature : Network News
March 23, 2021 — With the new file request feature in OneDrive, you can choose a folder where others can upload files using a link that you send them. People you request files from can only upload files. They can't see the content of the folder, edit, delete, or download files. They can't even see who else has uploaded files.
