June 6, 2022 — 
All staff and faculty accounts are now enrolled in Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA). If you have not done so already, please complete your enrolment by adding your second-factor device.

May 31, 2022 — 
Microsoft recently implemented an auto-expiration setting for all Teams recordings to help users manage their files.

May 9, 2022 — 
All student accounts were enrolled in Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA) on May 4. By Friday, May 6, 20,000 students had already added their second-factor device(s) to Duo. Adding a second-factor device completes the Duo enrolment so you can access all MFA-protected services.

May 3, 2022 — 
IST Engagement Services has added more Microsoft 365 training sessions for staff and faculty starting May 4 to the end of June.

April 11, 2022 — 
Effective June 1, 2022, multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be mandatory at the University of Manitoba for all faculty, staff and students.

March 22, 2022 — 
IST Engagement Services will offer additional Microsoft 365 training sessions to staff and faculty starting March 28. We invite you to join our IT Learning Coordinator in learning more about Microsoft 365. Training sessions on Teams, File Sharing, the M365 portal and MS Forms are available.

March 7, 2022 — 
This Fraud Awareness Month, our IST Security and Compliance team wants to help staff and faculty identify a "phishy" message. During the week of March 14, you may receive a phishing test.

March 4, 2022 — 
The Do the Duo Challenge is over and we have our grand prize winners. Thank you to all who enrolled in multi-factor authentication (MFA) over the last month.
