Back in high school, El-Shaddai Nyakiir, knew she wanted to attend university but was unsure of what to study. After taking a variety of first year courses, the political studies program from the Faculty of Arts rose to the top of her list. In spring 2023, El-Shaddai will graduate with a bachelor of arts advanced degree in political studies with a minor in philosophy.

Military experience leads to graduate degree in political studies

June 5, 2023 — 
In 2017, Christopher Hunt was living in Brandon, serving several short-term contracts in the Army Reserve and conducting contracted research for Royal Military College when he found himself deployed to Ukraine. This spring, he is graduating with a Master of Arts in Political Studies – a program that has afforded Chris many outstanding opportunities and has allowed him to meet some amazing students, academics and professionals in the field.
