As part of the Sustainability Strategy 2019-2023, the Office of Sustainability is developing a Waste Reduction & Management Plan (WRMP), which will help UM work toward a zero-waste system. Schnarr, Vice-Provost (Students): As you will have likely read in President Benarroch’s message, UM is currently in the process of collective bargaining with the University of Manitoba Faculty Association (UMFA). This weekend UMFA is putting a vote to its members regarding a potential strike. This does not mean that a strike will in fact occur. Bargaining between the two parties is continuing and we hope to reach a resolution.

Due to scheduled maintenance on Aurora, the Winter Term schedule and the registration functions won’t be available from November 2 through to November 17. Registration will reopen November 18 at 9 am CDT. Using Aurora is something that many of us use on a regular basis. During the maintenance period, you will still be able to use some functions in Aurora.
