This fall, UM is offering a new co-curricular approach to building entrepreneurial thinking skills called Better Together. Over two full days during fall reading week, November 14 and 15, faculty, staff and students will have the opportunity to learn about, practice and be inspired about the impact of entrepreneurial thinking skills.

On March 9, UM is welcoming award-winning journalist and best-selling author, Eternity Martis. Her debut memoir, They Said This Would Be Fun: Race, Campus Life, and Growing Up, focused on her experience as a racialized student on a mainly white campus. The book was featured on book lists including the Globe and Mail, CBC, Pop Sugar, Now magazine, BlogTO, and Chatelaine, as well as on syllabi for high school and post-secondary classes across North America.

Gather your team for the Jack Frost Challenge

Join friends and fellow Manitobans for this year’s Jack Frost Challenge — a province-wide event organized by the Green Action Centre that takes place from Feb. 5 to 11 and encourages participants to complete 130 collective kms of winter activities.
