New webpage with COVID-19 information for students : Student Support 2020

April 23, 2020 —  The UM is committed to supporting the academic success, health and well-being of all students, through this most difficult time. We recognize that during this time many students are experiencing additional pressures, including financial, employment, housing, food, or increased caregiving responsibilities.  We are continuing to provide supports, programs and services even though we are not physically located on campus.

April 22, 2020 —  Using these models, the researchers considered the future evolution of Arctic sea-ice cover in a scenario with high future CO2 emissions and little climate protection. As expected, Arctic sea ice disappeared quickly in summer in these simulations.
