New webpage with COVID-19 information for students

April 23, 2020 —

The UM is committed to supporting the academic success, health and well-being of all students, through this most difficult time. We recognize that during this time many students are experiencing additional pressures, including financial, employment, housing, food, or increased caregiving responsibilities.  We are continuing to provide supports, programs and services even though we are not physically located on campus.

We know you have questions, so a new webpage has been created with all of the key information that students need at this time in one place. This website has information on everything from connecting you with UM services and resources to providing information to help you make tough decisions.

On the new umanitoba.ca/coronavirus/students you’ll find tips for accessing UM resources for personal support, academic support and financial support, as well as information around remote course delivery, grade options and more. The page is your gateway to the most up-to-date information and resources on and off-campus. The webpage will be updated regularly, as new information emerges, so check back often.
