24/7 study space available during the exam period

December 4, 2025 — 
The University of Manitoba is providing a dedicated quiet study space with on-site staff throughout the exam period. The location, St. John’s College Library (3rd Floor, St. John’s College), will be available from 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8 through 8:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19.

As the Fall Term comes to an end and final exams approach, it can seem overwhelming to find a space to sit down and study in the library. The Indigenous Career Mentor Program is an informational interviewing program that supports Indigenous students in gathering industry information. Indigenous mentors that meet with Indigenous students provide advice on how to navigate career opportunities and challenges; mentors may also share their personal experiences navigating their own career journeys.

Fall 2025 Graduate Writing Retreat

November 27, 2025 — 
Join the Academic Learning Centre’s 3-day Graduate Writing Retreat, December 17–19, designed to help grad students make real progress on major writing projects. With daily strategy workshops and focused writing time, participants aim to produce up to 10,000 words. Applications are due December 1.
