November 17, 2021 —  Newly announced program will allow some eligible support staff to work remotely

November 17, 2021 —  November may be officially designated as national career month, but staff and students at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law work hard year-round to ensure graduating students have career options lined up as they near their respective finish lines.

November 17, 2021 —  The Ninth Annual Robson Hall Law Banquet took place on Thursday, October 28, 2021. The Law Banquet Co-Coordinators, law students Ashley Bains and Matthew Rakar were delighted to welcome 139 attendees to an in-person event at the Winnipeg Art Gallery this year. The attendees included a majority of the 1L class and lawyers from each of Manitoba’s five biggest law firms: Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP, MLT Aikins LLP, Fillmore Riley LLP, Taylor McCaffrey LLP, and Pitblado Law.

November 17, 2021 —  The Career Development Centre at the Asper School of Business is saddened by the passing of longtime co-op employer Frank Chamarengah. Chamarengah leaves a legacy of mentoring over 25 Asper School of Business co-op students since 2013. He consistently took in one or two students every work term, leaving a lasting impact on students and alumni.
