John Loxley’s legacy continues : Campus News
January 12, 2022 — Loxley had a particular passion for working with Canada’s First Nations communities. In the early 2000’s, while working as a Professor of Economics at the University of Manitoba, Loxley began advising the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society of Canada (FNCFCSC) and the Assembly of First Nations (AFN). It was his work with these organizations in the study of the financing of First Nations child welfare that may be the most impactful of his legacy.
