There is an outage scheduled for 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29 to update the UM web hosting server. During this time, anyone visiting the umanitoba.ca website will see an outage page.

Cyber Security Month phishing simulation results

At least twice a year, the IST Security and Compliance Team sends a fake phishing email to staff and faculty to gauge awareness and understanding of security threats. The latest phishing simulation was conducted on October 30.

Using multi-factor authentication means that you can prevent bad actors from accessing your account even if they know your password because Duo requires you to verify your identity before you can log in
