Two interdisciplinary research teams at the University of Manitoba’s Rady Faculty of Health Sciences have received one-year grants from The Winnipeg Foundation Innovation Fund for cutting-edge projects that will advance research in the areas of brain disease and mother-infant health.

Cheer on the Undergraduate Science 3MT competitors!

Over forty undergraduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Science are participating in the first (virtual) Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Science Undergraduate Student Competition, August 11th, & 12th, 2020. A new initiative, part of the Faculty of Science, Student Undergraduate Summer Research Experience Program. Three Minute Thesis challenges students to communicate their ideas and research discoveries concisely to a non-specialist audience, in three minutes or less. There will be two competitions that will air live on the Faculty of Science YouTube channel.
