June 19, 2023 —  Federal byelections are now afoot within Manitoba, but none of the results will alter the balance of power. As such, the byelections can be less about politics or party policies, and more about how individual candidates may be able to perform the nitty-gritty grind of parliamentary work to practically assist the Manitobans they would represent.

June 15, 2023 —  National Indigenous Peoples Day and National Indigenous History Month celebrate the history, culture, traditions and contributions of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples across all of Turtle Island.  One of the extraordinary young alumni we are honouring for his contributions and successes is Mihskakwan James Harper, who will receive UM’s Distinguished Alumni Award for Outstanding Young Alumni for 2023.
