April 26, 2021 — 
On April 16 and 17, 20201, The Stu Clark New Venture Championships: Undergraduate Edition brought together students from various faculties and post-secondary schools across Manitoba to compete for over $20,000 in cash prizes.

March 18, 2021 — 
This year the Stu Clark New Venture Championships – Graduate Edition went virtual for the first time.

February 1, 2021 — 
At the start of winter term, the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law launched a virtual version of its L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic. This new incarnation of the Faculty’s experiential learning course for third-year law students is now operating entirely online as well as collaborating on initiatives with the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship at the Asper School of Business and other organizations.

November 11, 2020 — 
On October 29, the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship (SCCE) hosted its first virtual business plan pitch competition as part of its core Asper entrepreneurship course ENTR 2030 and the parallel ENTR 2020 course for non-Asper students.

September 15, 2020 — 
Entrepreneurship is about being your own boss, something students across the University of Manitoba will be required to master this upcoming year. Working and learning from home means students will have to take control of their environment to be set up for success.

July 22, 2020 — 
In response to challenges facing many local businesses during COVID-19 restrictions, the Asper School of Business has created a new undergraduate course designed to give back to the Manitoba business community.

July 19, 2020 — 
This June, the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship (SCCE) held a two-phase virtual competition for students to exercise their entrepreneurial creativity.

June 22, 2020 — 
As the Manitoba regional hub of the Women Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (WEKH), the Asper School of Business is a part national network of ten regional hubs designed to increase women entrepreneurs’ access to financing, talent, networks, and expertise.

June 2, 2020 — 
The Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship (SCCE) hosted a new competition for University of Manitoba students asking them to nominate their favourite Manitoba small business.

May 19, 2020 — 
An Asper MBA business venture team excelled at the world’s first virtual business plan competition by reaching the final round of the 2020 SCG Bangkok Business Challenge, Asia’s longest-running global student start-up competition.
