Tara Horrill, who is set to graduate with her PhD from the College of Nursing, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences on June 15, and Anisa Isse, who earned a UM nursing PhD in 2019, both had the rare opportunity to speak to members of Parliament over the last two months.

Nursing students adapt workshops to inspire youth virtually

Despite having to take an entirely new approach, a team of volunteer students from the College of Nursing, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, welcomed nearly 80 youth from across the city to explore nursing careers as part of the CanU Inspire and Explore programs this past fall and winter.
