The College of Nursing, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences  is offering a new course for the summer term that will explore health care and research from Indigenous worldviews and experiences. The course is open to all UM graduate students.

Rady researchers to develop ‘placenta on a chip’ and living lab platform

Two Rady Faculty of Health Sciences faculty members and researchers at the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM) were recently awarded New Investigator Research Grants from the Sick Kids Foundation, a national health education group, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health.

Former dean of dentistry recognized for ‘transformation and vision,’ named dean emeritus

A dentist and academic who led the UM dentistry program for eight years said he was humbled to be formally appointed dean emeritus of dentistry at a virtual ceremony on March 7.
