At the end of 2019 the Asper School of Business launched a new strategic plan entitled Pursuing our Asper-ations set to drive our faculty’s direction from 2019 to 2023. The plan was developed with a view to build on our existing strengths and strong legacy, while continuing to advance the School in a new strategic era.

Trudy Schroeder, Tom Carson and Paul Mahon are leaders in business, non-profit, and governmental realms. What binds them together is their involvement in the President’s Student Leadership Program (PSLP)

January 30, 2020 — 
With one of the best performances to date, the Asper School of Business reinforced its place as a top Canadian business school at the 2020 JDC West Competition in Regina, Saskatchewan from January 17-19, 2020. The three-day event showcases academics, athletics, debate, and out-of-the-box social competitions.

In the September 2019 provincial election, Asper School of Business alumna Audrey Gordon [MBA/12] was elected as the new MLA for the Southdale riding in Winnipeg.

January 7, 2020 — 
In celebration of 50 years of graduates since our first cohort in 1970, the Asper School of Business has launched the Q & A with an MBA story series.

Another incredible year reaches its conclusion at the University of Manitoba and we would like to share some of our most notable stories from 2019

December 20, 2019 — 
Master of Science graduate and current Asper MBA student, Olga Francisco, will be kicking off the decade in a big way. Thanks to a research and development (R&D) collaboration with the Faculty of Science and the Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship, Francisco will soon see her company’s first product, Illumina serum, on the shelves of the Southdale Red River Co-op store.
