Stefanie Wiens [BMROT/96] knew at the age of seven that she wanted to be an actor. By the time she was 13, she had also started to think about occupational therapy, after the “obscure” career was suggested in an aptitude test at school.

Tenure follows promotion for Robson Hall alum Brandon Trask

After having been promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law as of March 30, 2025, Brandon Trask officially received Tenure at the University of Manitoba as of July 1. The significance of this rite of passage for junior faculty members may be lost on most students, but it matters in the grand scheme of things to faculty members, staff, their relationship with the union and the university and, ultimately, to their students, regardless of how dull an administrative function it seems.
