April 25, 2024 —  The Office of the Secretary has announced the election of two new Indigenous Senators for the 2024 to 2027 term. Lucy Fowler (Department of Educational Administration, Foundations and Psychology, Faculty of Education) and Cary Miller (Department of Indigenous Studies, Faculty of Arts) will begin their terms on June 1, 2024.

April 24, 2024 —  Students at the Price Faculty of Engineering are no strangers to placing well at national competitions. 2024 was no different as four out of five UM teams achieved podium finishes at the Canadian Engineering Competition.

April 23, 2024 —  The 2024 Moot season held another year of excellent learning opportunities for law students and resulted in several triumphs for the Manitoba moot teams. Awards won included the Spirit of the Laskin Award, the Spirit of Negotiation Award for the French stream of the Canadian National Negotiation Competition (CNNC), and recognition for the fourth-best mooter in the all-French language Bastarache moot.
