September 10, 2021 — 
Twenty years after the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences continues to honour the legacy of Dr. Christine Egan, a Max Rady College of Medicine alumna who was visiting her brother, Michael, at the World Trade Center in New York when the twin towers were struck by hijacked passenger jets in the infamous terrorist attack.

A resource centre in Steinbach, Man. aims to educate preschool children on road safety using a program developed by occupational therapy students at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences

Michael Eskin and Evelyn Forget are the newest UM Fellows of the Royal Society of Canada, and Meghan Azad is a newest UM Member

September 3, 2021 — 
Max Rady College of Medicine student Jayelle Friesen-Enns has received a Canadian Medical Hall of Fame (CMHF) award honouring second-year medical students who demonstrate community leadership, superior communication skills and interest in advancing knowledge

September 1, 2021 — 
Dr. Brian Postl, dean of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, is saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Brian Hennen, former University of Manitoba dean of medicine, on Aug. 30.

August 31, 2021 — 
The University of Manitoba welcomes the province’s newest Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) students on Aug. 31.

August 27, 2021 — 
Five graduate students from the College of Nursing, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences were recently designated as 2021 Canadian Nurses Foundation (CNF) scholars, including two who received an award with a connection to the college’s history.

A group of physician specialists from various backgrounds began working on a concept that would eventually become the Virtual COVID-19 Outpatient Program (VCOP).
