Mamma Mia, how do they do it? Right after exams and right about when they begin articling, three busy law students will be taking part in the 2019 Lawyers Play. Casted entirely of members of the Manitoba Bar Association (from judges to lawyers to law students) the annual play is one of the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre’s largest fundraisers, that has occurred every year since 1990 and has since raised over $1,090,000 for the RMTC.

Supreme Court Justice Rothstein shares experiences with law class
March 25, 2019 —
On Wednesday, March 13th, former Supreme Court Justice Marshall Rothstein came to speak to our Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms seminar class. It is a small class with less than 15 students which provided a very intimate and comfortable atmosphere and provided ample opportunity for students to ask questions. The focus of the class is to discuss the purpose, effect, and use of the Charter since its adoption. The opportunity to have a former Supreme Court justice come and speak of his experience was an immense privilege.
