Attend the 2024 IDEA Student Presentation with business icon Gerry Price

The Associates of the Asper School of Business invite UM students to meet one of Manitoba’s most influential business leaders and one of UM’s most dedicated alumni. On May 30, 2024, Gerry Price [BSc/70, MSc/72, LLD/17], the 2024 International Distinguished Entrepreneur Award (IDEA) recipient, will share his impressive career journey, followed by a Q&A facilitated by the Asper School of Business Commerce Student’s Association President, Melani Fernando.

Asper BComm student Gilbert Eretchabor is currently working hard to revitalize the University of Manitoba Supply Chain Organization (UMSCO) as president and is a passionate advocate for the field. Supply chain isn’t something that Eretchabor pursued from the start of his degree, but some cogent advice from the Dean helped him see his future (and his past) in supply chain.

Asper undergraduate team wins first place in not-for-profit case competition and gives back

April 1, 2024 — 
Asper students Joshua Peterson, Tyler Roslinsky, Taylor Bially and Sanjana Sabu won first prize at the Alberta Not-for-Profit’s External Case Competition this February, bringing home a $1,500 cash prize, which they donated back to the not-for-profit organization that helped them prepare for the competition.
