October 14, 2022 — 
The Stu Clark Centre for Entrepreneurship (SCCE) at the Asper School of Business is celebrating 25 years of supporting the entrepreneurial dreams of University of Manitoba students. With 500+ Venture Coach meetings, more than $750,000 in prize money given to student ventures, and with 1250+ students from all over North America having participated in SCCE competitions – there's lots to celebrate.

The exchange was a much-anticipated opportunity for the participating students, professors and staff after a two-year program pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

For many alumni, staff, faculty, and students, the appointment of John McCallum as Professor Emeritus isn’t a surprise. McCallum has dedicated 48 years to the Asper School of Business, seeing more students graduate, more alumni retire, and more deans move through the School than any faculty or staff member.

On September 7, 2022, The Young Associates of the Asper School of Business celebrated the inaugural IGNITE awards. A crowd of more than 600 Asper students, business leaders and faculty honoured Ash Modha [BA/98], President and CEO of Mondetta Clothing.
