Discover your future in healthcare
Sessions run February 14-16, 2022
Do you have passion for science and an interest in helping others? If so, you may want to consider a career in the field of healthcare. Most of us are familiar with a few of the most well-known healthcare occupations. After all, we’ve likely visited a doctor for a cold, been to the dentist office for a routine cleaning with the dental hygienist, saw a physiotherapist for a sports injury, or observed a nurse in action caring for a loved one. However, many of us would be surprised to learn that there are many different occupations in the field of healthcare, more than we may have ever imagined!
Attend one or more of the Discover Your Future in Healthcare sessions or check out one of the recorded sessions and discover the many healthcare options available for you! Career Services will be highlighting a few healthcare occupations this year including:
- Healthcare Social Worker on Monday February 14th from 10 – 11:30 am.
- Allied Health Professionals – Ultrasound Tech, X-Ray Tech, Medical Lab Tech, Radiation Therapist and Paramedic on Tuesday February 15th from 1-2:30pm
- Physician on Wednesday February 16th from 10 – 11:30 am
Each session in the series offers the chance to learn first-hand about the occupation and will feature a professional (or two) from the field who will speak about their experiences in the role. Admissions and academic program information will also be highlighted.
All sessions will be virtual. Register in advance on careerCONNECT to reserve your spot today!
