St. Paul’s College book wins award in Beverly Hills
St. Paul’s College’s recent book St. Paul’s College: Facing the New Millennium has once again been honoured with an award.
To add to its previous award of Finalist in the 2016 International Book Awards, the Beverly Hills Book Awards selected it as the winner in the category of Religion (Non Fiction) and honoured it as a “Finalist” in the category of Book Interior Design (Non Fiction). The Annual Beverly Hills Book Awards focus on excellence in books in print from all publishing houses.
In a congratulatory note from Ellen Reid, President & CEO of Beverly Hills Book Awards, she stressed:
“Your book truly embodies the excellence that this award was created to celebrate, and we salute you and your fine work.”
When asked about these latest honours, the book’s editor Chris Butterill said how proud she was of the whole team’s care given to this three-year project in the design work and photography, and by the cohort of writers. “They gave of their time, knowledge, research, and diligence to produce this work and the international community commends the results with these awards!”
Facing the New Millennium, which was launched in January to celebrate the College’s 90th Anniversary (1926-2016), is a sequel to the 1999 Memories and Histories book. Students, faculty, staff, alum, and friends collaborated to bring together accounts of the College’s activities and accomplishments, both past and present, and its exciting plans for the future.
