President’s Student Leadership Program works with local organizations

From forging intergenerational connections to providing basic necessities to the community’s most vulnerable, the fifth cohort of the President’s Student Leadership Program (PSLP) recently completed five innovative and meaningful community leadership projects. PSLP brings together student leaders from post-secondary institutions across Manitoba, with specialties ranging from microbiology to marketing, at levels ranging from diploma to doctoral programs.

Canada’s first national disability benefit, Bill C-22, received royal assent on June 22, 2023. The bill was reintroduced in 2022 after initially being tabled two years prior.

New group on healing racialized trauma available to BIBOC students

Changes to IST open-area labs effective October 2023

The Information Services and Technology (IST) open-area computer labs are available for all students and staff. Standard software, including Microsoft 365 desktop tools, Respondus LockDown Browser, Firefox, Edge, and Chrome browsers, are installed on all lab devices.
