UM raises Ukrainian flag in solidarity

UM raised the Ukrainian flag on its Fort Garry campus on March 10 in support of the many members of our university community who have deep roots in Ukraine

As the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine continues to escalate, the resolve of Ukrainians—and all who respect the dignity of human life—grows stronger. The Faculty of Social Work stands in solidarity with Ukraine in the brave fight to preserve fundamental human rights and freedom from tyranny. We condemn the Russian government’s unlawful war and deceitful propaganda, with which they are manipulating their own citizens and the world.
