On November 5, 2024, 3 law students from the Faculty of Law’s Manitoba Legal Clinic for the Arts became educators and gave an in-person seminar to the University of Winnipeg’s “The Business of Theatre” Class.

November 20, 2024 — 
Record-breaking numbers of people registered for Manitoba’s four Access to Justice Week webinars presented October 28 to 31, 2024. A total of 990 registrations were received from 555 unique individuals. For the fourth year in a row, The Faculty of Law, Law Society of Manitoba, and the Manitoba Bar Association organized panels designed to bring together stakeholders in the legal community to develop meaningful, public-centred solutions that advance systemic change in the justice system.

September 13, 2024 — 
The Faculty of Law has published its inaugural Experiential Learning Report this summer to showcase the remarkable growth of clinical offerings at Manitoba’s law school over the past two years. This growth aligns directly with the Faculty’s Strategic Plan and furthers access to justice objectives.

November 27, 2023 — 
The annual Solomon Greenberg Moot took place on Grey Cup Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the Winnipeg Law Courts. Participating students were third-year law students Melinda Moch, Noah Scatliff, Genevieve Smith, Dominique Gibson, Thomas Mooney, and Tyson Priebe.

The Rights Clinic at Robson Hall is delighted to announce the relaunch of its new website. The revamped online platform boasts an array of exciting features designed to provide valuable insights and knowledge to the public.

This summer, the Rights Clinic at Robson Hall is dedicated to forging partnerships with organizations to advance rights on a broader scale. The Rights Clinic is thrilled to announce a number of additions to the team to support its summer operations and upcoming projects for the fall. Supervising Clinical Instructor Liz McCandless, joins forces with Rights Clinic founder Assistant Professor Brandon Trask, and incoming second-year summer students Lizzie Tough and Maria Garcia Manzano are enthusiastic about raising public awareness regarding rights-related issues.
