February 5, 2024 — 
Our Asper students are eager to get out into their fields and contribute to the business community. Each fall we have more than 100 students join our co-op program, making us one of the University of Manitoba’s largest co-operative education programs.

February 2, 2024 — 
On February 1, 2024, the 2023 Celebrating Co-op Awards welcomed over 270 co-op students and employer partners to toast to another successful year of co-op education. Sponsored by The Associates of the Asper School of Business, this annual event highlights the Manitoba business community’s dedication to educating the province’s future workforce and awards the 2023 Co-op Student and Employer of the Year.

January 26, 2024 — 
Asper School of Business and Stu Clark Graduate School students competed in the fall case season. Supported by alumni, faculty and members of the Associates, and guided by coaches, mentors and judges, the Asper case experience continues to thrive and represent the School around the world.

September 15, 2023 — 
International business major Will Lazarenko’s Asper School of Business experience has been remarkably unique: he adapted to remote learning during pandemic closures, studied abroad through Asper’s international exchange program and lived beneath the sounds of war in Ukraine on a self-initiated humanitarian mission.

August 2, 2023 — 
The Asper School of Business’s Arni Thorsteinson Study Exchange Program (ATSEP) to Israel celebrated its 15th anniversary this year.

June 28, 2023 — 
With dramatic shifts between black sand beaches, roaring waterfalls, sublime cliffsides and glacier-capped mountains, the landscapes of Iceland are a lesson in appreciating the environment, sustainability and change.

June 15, 2023 — 
The Burns Leadership Institute is pleased to announce the fifth cohort of the President’s Student Leadership Program (PSLP) at the University of Manitoba.

May 11, 2023 — 
This year for the first time in the IDEA award’s 39-year history, The Associates held an auction to raise funds in support of experiential learning at the Asper School of Business, which concluded with an outstanding final bid of $110,000.

May 1, 2023 — 
In the last three months, the Asper case community has been busy with a diverse array of competitions, generating invaluable experiential learning opportunities and community engagement.

April 17, 2023 — 
The Asper School of Business has received recognition as a business school of tomorrow from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business AACSB International, the world’s largest business education alliance.
