Retirement planning sessions offered for faculty and staff

Registration will open October 1 for virtual sessions on November 8, 9, 10 and 12

Current faculty and staff who are plan members of the University of Manitoba Pension Plan (1993) (Pension Plan) and are planning to retire in the next five years are invited to register for three upcoming virtual retirement planning sessions taking place on November 8,9,10 and 12.

An additional information session on November 12 is open to all plan members who would like more information on the Pension Plan and long term financial planning.

Speakers will provide information on a number of topics including an overview of the Pension Plan, the pension benefit payout options available, wills and estate planning and retiree benefits. The sessions will be held via Webex meetings.

Registration is required. Please ensure your LODReg account is active prior to registering. Participants will be contacted through email by the Pension Office after registration closes.

RETIREMENT PLANNING SESSIONS

Registration and attendance is limited to those who are within five years of retirement.

Registration is limited to 20 attendees per session.

Session 2

Date: November 9, 2021

Time: 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Session 3

Date: November 10, 2021

Time: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

INFORMATION SESSION: THINKING AHEAD TO YOUR RETIREMENT PLANNING

The information session is limited to 90 registrants.
