You are able to alter your course registrations without any academic or financial penalties until the end of the revision period.
The Last day to DROP A FALL 2023 COURSE is:
- Sept 19, 2023
The Last day to ADD A FALL 2023 COURSE is:
- Sept 20, 2023
At the end of the Revision period…
Once the registration revision period is over, you are still able to Voluntary Withdraw (VW) from a course up to a certain date in the term. However, please note that a Voluntary Withdraw will appear on your transcript and you will still have to pay the tuition and fees associated with the course.
Remember – Think before you drop!
If you are still in a Waitlisted seat…
Once the last day to add a course has passed, If you don’t get a spot in a course you waitlisted, you do not have to withdraw from the waitlist.
Students who are still on waitlists will automatically be removed after September 21st. Please do not remove yourself from the waitlist once the revision period has ended.
Need to update your Residency Status?
If you need to update your residency status, ensure that you submit your documentation prior to September 19th in order to be eligible for a fee adjustment.
Leaving UM?
If you do not plan to attend courses this fall, ensure that you drop all registered courses before September 19th. For more information on cancelling your registration, please see our Cancelling your Registration page.
