Please note these changes to mail delivery and pick-up

December 15, 2014 — 

Effective January 5, 2015, the following changes to the mail pick-up and delivery schedule will be implemented:

 

Machray Hall

  • Incoming mail will be dropped off at 10:15 am (previously dropped off at 1:00 p.m.). The mail will be sorted into departmental bins before noon.
    Outgoing mail will be picked up at approximately 1:45 p.m.

EITC (Mail rooms E3-603, E2-445, E2 6th floor)

  • Mail will be picked up and dropped off at approximately 12:50 p.m. (previously at 10:15 a.m.).

St. Paul’s College, NRI / Sinnott

  • Outgoing mail will be picked up at approximately 1:30 p.m. (previously at 3:10 p.m.).
    Incoming mail will continue to be dropped off at approximately 8:20 a.m.

St. John’s College

  • Outgoing mail will be picked up at approximately 1:35 p.m. (previously at 3:15 p.m.).
    Incoming mail will continue to be dropped off at approximately 8:25 a.m.

Welcome Centre

  • Mail will be picked up and dropped off at approximately 3:05 pm (previously at12:50 p.m.).

Richardson Centre for Functional Foods and Nutraceuticals

  • Mail will be picked up and dropped off at approximately 3:10 p.m. (previously at 12:55 p.m.).

Cangene

  • Mail will be dropped off at approximately 3:15 p.m.

External Relations

  • Mail will be picked up and dropped off at approximately 3:20 p.m. (previously at 2:00 p.m.).

Event Centre

  • Mail will be picked up and dropped off at approximately 3:25 p.m. (previously at 2:05 p.m.).

Government of Canada Freshwater Institute

  • Mail will be picked up and dropped off at approximately 3:30 p.m. (previously 1:00 p.m.).

Manitoba Agriculture Vet Lab

  • Mail will be picked up and dropped off at approximately 3:35 p.m. (previously 8:45 a.m.).

Administration Building

  • Incoming mail will continue to be dropped off at approximately 9:15 a.m.
    Outgoing mail will continue to be picked up at approximately 11:35 a.m.
  • There will be NO CHANGE to the morning schedule. However, there will no longer be a general afternoon mail drop off.
    Pick up in Administration: For the occasional special or urgent need to have mail items picked up and delivered to the mail room in the afternoon, please call the Physical Plant Dispatch Desk (9646) and a driver will be dispatched to pick up the mail pieces.

University Centre

  • Incoming mail will continue to be dropped off at approximately 9:25 a.m.
    Outgoing mail will continue to be picked up at approximately 10:50 a.m.
  • There is NO CHANGE to the morning schedule. However, there will no longer be a general afternoon mail drop off/pickup in University Centre. For the occasional special or urgent need to have mail items picked up and delivered to the mail room in the afternoon, please call the Physical Plant Dispatch Desk (9546) and a driver will be dispatched to pick up the mail pieces.
  • The above changes are being made to balance the demands of the morning and afternoon schedules, and to effectively streamline the delivery route. The changes will result in all departments having consistent service.
  • For your additional information, there are no changes to the times that Canada Post picks up from, and delivers to, the Mail Room: incoming mail is received daily at 7:30 a.m., and outgoing mail is picked up daily at 4:00 p.m.
