September 20, 2022 —  The University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law is pleased to announce the launch of an Access to Justice blog that will be a valuable legal resource to Canadians. The site will highlight developments related to access to justice from across Canada, with an emphasis on those relevant to Manitoba.

September 19, 2022 —  Leslie Redmond joined the Department of Food and Human Nutritional Sciences as Assistant Professor in Food, Culture and Health on July 1, 2022.

September 16, 2022 —  A new high-tech “smart suite” model apartment, developed by the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, opened Sept. 14 at Health Sciences Centre.

September 16, 2022 —  On September 1, Dr. Peter Nickerson, a prominent physician and researcher in the field of organ transplantation, began his role as dean of the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences and dean of the Max Rady College of Medicine, as well as vice-provost (health sciences). We chatted with Dr. Nickerson about his plans for the future, his first job in health care, and his travel through northern Canada.

September 16, 2022 —  The Department of Icelandic Language and Literature has established a "free play" tradition which encourages students to pursue original projects and create new works inspired by Old Norse myths and legends. Creation Myths of the North: An Exhibit of Student Artwork shows some of the pieces created by students over the last few years.

September 15, 2022 —  The respiratory therapy program at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Rady Faculty of Health Sciences will see a 20 per cent increase in its class size starting this fall to address a projected shortage of respiratory therapists in Manitoba.
