October 7, 2022 —  As you head into the well-deserved Thanksgiving long weekend, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your remarkable contributions.

October 7, 2022 —  Natasha Jacobson joined the Department of Biosystems Engineering (co-located in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and the Price Faculty of Engineering) as Instructor II on July 1, 2022.

October 6, 2022 —  The Health Sciences Centre Foundation together with Manitoba Public Insurance and the University of Manitoba announced on Oct. 5 that $3.5 million in funding will be going towards Max Rady College of Medicine associate professor of surgery Dr. Frederick Zeiler’s research that’s looking at ways to provide more individualized care for patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI).

October 6, 2022 —  The Faculty of Law hosted its 2022 Homecoming event on September 21 in collaboration with Legal Aid Manitoba to celebrate the 50-year partnership that has existed between the two institutions. Since 1972, Legal Aid lawyers have supervised law students working at the University of Manitoba Community Law Centre (known as the Legal Aid clinic) to provide experiential learning opportunities to law students and ensure access to justice to persons who cannot afford a lawyer.
