January 22, 2018 —  Meet Dr. Rick Chartrand, [BSc/93], Co-Founder and Mathematician, Descartes Labs, 2018 Faculty of Science Honoured Alumni Award recipient. Dr. Chartrand’s career has spanned both academia and industry. He co-founded Descartes Labs with other scientists from Los Alamos National Laboratory, their work specializing in calibration and analysis of satellite imagery.
