Nominate a member of support staff for excellence award

Do you know a support staff member or team whose contributions to U of M are exceptional? Please show your appreciation by nominating them for one of the four Awards of Excellence for Support Staff: the President’s Award, Leadership Award, Service Award, and Team Award. (The attached poster and brochures provide a quick reference.)

Nominations are open until March 28th, 2014. Upon successful nomination, all nominees and nominators will be invited to a celebration lunch on May 17, 2014. In addition, nominators’ names will be entered into a draw for a Bookstore gift certificate. The award winners plus their nominators and guests will be invited to a celebratory reception at the President’s house.

Help shape UM’s Mental Health and Well-Being Strategy

This spring, UM established a Task Force on Mental Health and Well-Being to examine the current mental health supports available on our campuses and consider how we can strengthen these resources for our community’s holistic health. As part of the next phase of this work, students, staff, and faculty members are invited to share their thoughts and experiences to help shape a new comprehensive Mental Health and Well-Being Strategy.
