In February of this year, Professor Dr. Francine Morin and Dean Emeritus Dr. David Mandzuk officially retired from their positions at the University of Manitoba and have been appointed as Senior Scholars.

The connection between language and meaning has been well established. The language we use is directly related to the way we view and treat others. Inclusive language is imperative to achieve equitable change, grounded in human rights and social justice.

The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) Program provides opportunities for professors, instructors and librarians to meaningfully engage in projects that increase knowledge in pedagogy and learning.
