Most HR information systems have now moved online
Successful VIP-8G rollout with training and guides available
As of July 18, VIP users see an exciting change. All functionality for Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), with the exception of payroll and time entry, have moved online thanks to the successful roll out of VIP-8G HRIS system.
The key features of VIP 8 offers:
- a web-based platform
- user access from any web-supported devices from anywhere in the world with your VPN login through the website https://vip.umanitoba.ca
- quick and convenient access to useful resources such as manuals, guides and links to videos, available directly in VIP
- user-friendly interface
- easy access to reports and tools
Training sessions took place in the early part of July, and HR would like to thank the UM community for taking part in training and for all the support throughout the project rollout.
As in-person and online training opportunities have now wrapped up, users can access all training resources online by visiting VIP 8G Training Videos.
This is the first phase of the VIP upgrade with more to come!
