Great-West Life now Canada Life
New branding does not impact on coverage
On January 1, 2020, The Great-West Life Assurance Company, London Life Insurance Company and The Canada Life Assurance Company merged under The Canada Life Assurance Company brand.
This change does not impact coverage.
Employees will notice that the Canada Life brand will begin showing up on correspondence and forms and that direct deposits for claim reimbursements will be from Canada Life; not Great-West Life.
Employees can continue to submit claims electronically using GroupNet for plan members. Both the Great-West Life and Canada Life website sign in buttons will direct users to the same sign in page. Alternatively, employees can use the GroupNet Mobile app, downloadable from the App Store and Google Play.
