Declaring a climate emergency: what happens now?

Pumpkin Carving Party
Put on your favourite costume and come down to the Farm and Food Discovery Centre to join our party! Pumpkins, carving tools and snacks will be provided.  Pre-registration required.

Bisons Home Openers
Be part of the excitement as the Bisons kick-off their volleyball and basketball seasons at home in back-to-back weekend match-ups. Bring the whole family, meet Billy the Bison and cheer on the herd!

Unsettling Ideas Book Club
Unsettling Ideas is a new campus and community book club designed to engage the UM community in discussions around anti-racism, decolonization and reconciliation. The first book selection is Chelsea Vowel’s Indigenous Writes. A public meeting, hosted by Vowel.

University of Manitoba Theatre Program presents: Look Homeward, Angel by Ketti Frings
Directed by George Toles, this richly layered, coming-of-age story is based on the early history of American novelist Thomas Wolfe.

Emerging Alumni Lecture: Thom Fougere
From transforming EQ3 to his own studio, Thom Fougere has worked in the realms of furniture design, architecture and creative direction. He will present a dynamic overview of his work to date, key projects, working processes and his perspective on design.
