Sherri Walsh [LL.B./1985], who was appointed as the City of Winnipeg's first Integrity Commissioner last year in February, is about to table a report to City Council containing a newly revised Code of Conduct for Members of Council.

The many faces of Krish Maharaj

January 11, 2018 — 
Mr. Krish Maharaj is the new Assistant Professor teaching first year Contracts and Trusts. He hails from Auckland, New Zealand, landing in Winnipeg, via Edmonton and Vancouver where he practiced in civil litigation, with a stopover at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC to complete an LLM. Currently in the process of finishing his PhD, Maharaj’s area of research focus is the law of private obligations, specifically issues related to mitigation of loss in breach of contract cases.
