JUNO artists will perform at upcoming U of M alumni event

The University of Manitoba was represented at the 2014 JUNO Awards by alumni who were nominated in two categories.

The debut album Courage, My Love by Desautels Faculty of Music alumna Erin Propp [BJazz/11], a collaboration with professor Larry Roy [MMus/10], was nominated for for best Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.

Faculty of Law alumna Desiree Dorion [LLB/08] was also nominated for a Juno Award for her country album titled Small Town Stories.

These artists, plus alumna Andriana Chuchman [BMus(Perf)/04] who recently performed at The MET, will perform at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Celebration of Excellence, which is being held at the Winnipeg Art Gallery on May 1.
